A Day at the Capital

The Vietnamese of MN and members of the community were present at the API Day at the Capitol, which was designed to bring together Minnesotans of Asian and Pacific Islander (API) descent to rally together, increase their knowledge of the state policymaking process, and directly connect with legislators about the issues that matter most to them. Our attendance was made known to other communities and their leaders.

NEVER FORGET

Black April – 04/30

Remembering the fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975. A sobering day held at the MN State Capitol grounds, we remembered the darkest day of the Vietnamese people’s history. Even on a cold, wet April day, many distinguished guests and community members attended to pay their respects and to never forget what the historic tragedy brought to our people.
