Minnesota is now home to a community of more than 30,000 Vietnamese-Americans. A commemoration & rally will be held on the Lower Mall of Minnesota State Capitol in Saint Paul to remember the loss and sacrifices of countless Vietnamese, particularly the “Boat People” along with 57,000 American soldiers, South Vietnam forces and allies who died for freedom and democracy. The event will also recognize the achievements and contributions of the Vietnamese-Americans in Minnesota.
